Different between reasons and excuses

Today lesson we will talk about how we differentiate "reason" and "excuses". Here are the examples

1. Example to use "reason"
In June the Fuel price hike to 41%. The Electricity's charge then announce to be increased at he same time. Along side with other industries like freight services, transportation services and food production, also announce a price adjustment after a few days. They have to do so and we consumers have to accept it.

2. Example to use "excuse"
Recently the fuel price have reduce 3 times to only 19% increase from the price before the hike. But the electricity charge did not reduce to the change, as well as those industries whose increase their product price and service charge. They said the increment of price is not due to fuel price but from other materials. We consumers have to accept it.
